From David & Sonya Cooper, married on 12th January 2008.

Isaac and Amber de Reus were responsible for the photography of our wedding day in Hamilton on 12th of January 2008. At the time of our booking they were becoming professional and we were lucky enough to be able to secure a booking with them early on. 
We met with them early to discuss the package that we wanted and they were more than accommodating in our ideas and wishes for our wedding photography.  On top of this they were very open to ideas of different photos that Sonya had to be taken throughout the day. 

When the wedding day came around, we were nothing but impressed with their professionalism, attitude and how much fun they were to be around.  We strongly believe that half of the reason that our photos turned out so well is not only because of the skill of both Amber and Isaac with the cameras, but their personalities and how comfortable they made us feel.  On such a hectic and exciting day, I could only imagine what it would be like with photographers that you couldn’t be comfortable around. 

The photos of the bridal party and the groom’s party were amazing, and they coordinated between each other the timing that was necessary to do so.  The ceremony photos were also amazing, and they communicated efficiently and effectively with the celebrant about his own preferences on the running of the ceremony.  As soon as the ceremony ended, we had the best time of our lives throughout the photo shoot, as they directed the photos in a way that everyone could have heaps of fun.  It was great having both of them there to take photos from different angles, of different people and backing each other up with different ideas. 

One of the big drawcards of their service is the promptness, and having a ‘sneak-peak’ of the photos the day after the wedding was absolutely amazing.  On top of this only a week later they gave us the entire DVD of all the photos, and then only 2 weeks later we received the wedding album.  The album’s finishing was impeccable, and the work done on it was incredible. 

In conclusion, we would thoroughly recommend Isacc & Amber de Reus for wedding photography, both for their amazing friendly personality, and for their artistic, entertaining and incredible photography.
